It's The Coffin They Carry You Off In Alone.

it's becoming quite trendy in the uk for jw's to attend funerals when there is no body there.. i mean it folks, literally no body - no corpse, no coffin / casket call it what you will.. before my own father died some years back, he and some of his witness friends left instructions that, when they died, their body was to be quietly disposed of by the undertakers, preferably by cremation, with no-one else present.. and that's what happened.

my father died one tuesday morning and by saturday he had been cremated.

on saturday afternoon there was a jw meeting that mentioned him briefly and then lots of enthusiastic pro-witness stuff that totally bewildered the non-dub relatives that were present.

Funerals are barbaric horrible things! I hated going to funerals as a kid, seeing the corpse all made up & dressed up. Old people trying to get kids to 'kiss Aunt Minnie goodbye so you won't miss her so much'!!!!!! Taking photos of the corpse...

CREEP ME OUT! I say burn that dead meat ASAP and bury the ashes with a sapling for remembrance. Then PARTY ON DUDES!!!! And let the wake last as long as humanly possible. NO CORPSEVIEWING!!! GROSS PERVERSE SICK CUSTOM!!!!!

Funerals and coffins and embalming are a huge waste of money. My family knows when I bite the big one they better haul my ass to the firepit in a cardboard box and send the ashes home in a tin can. I'll be LONG GONE by then so why should my beloved family have to shell out $$$ to house my fat carcass while it rots? Better they spend that cash on something nice for the living. Maybe a nice vacation for darling Papa...

I don't see how clogging our local judiciary with a lot of bullshit claims against r&f peons who can't afford to pay the fines is going to bring THE CULT to its knees! The Society won't pay the fines, the individual Jdubs will. I have no beef with individual r&f delusional cultists. I'm perfectly willing to set their ears burning if they are silly enough to beard me in my den. I think you're a moron for insisting that harrassing individual cultists in court is somehow a better strategy than offering factual evidence to the widest possible audience. It may make you feel good to bully somebody in court (you seem to love doing that here!) but it won't accomplish diddlysquat in terms of educating the public or bringing the Tower to accoutability for its actions. I'm not concerned with the US judicial system I'm concerned with the waste of LOCAL time & resources that should be spent on actual CRIME you fucking nitwit! Or did you think all your trespassing cases were going to be tried in Federal courts?

I fail to see how clogging up local court systems with suits against individual JWs is going to accomplish anything, Mad. It might give some satisfaction to vindictive individuals but it won't hurt the Watchtower Society at all. The judgment was against the Jdub who annoyed the householder, NOT against the congregation or the Society.

I like the way you condemn everyone here for not doing what you think we should, Mad. Tell you what: you go first, you contact those churches and drum up some rage in your community, direct it against the r&f dubs in your vicinity, and come back and report here how much difference you made against the Society's legal machine.

Be sure to publicly downplay the sterling work of Silentlambs and the many behind the scenes who are actually working to force Brooklyn to some accountability for their crimes against innocents while you are tooting your horn over your successes against individual window washers. Be sure to downplay the effect of national media exposure given to important issues, while you enjoy posting whatever local newspaper article you get written about your vendetta against individual cultists.

last night, i found myself wondering aloud about something i never thought i would consider: purchasing a gun.

previously, i had very strong anti-gun sentiments.
